Winstrol,
of the generic compound
stanozolol,
is available both as an oral and injectable
anabolic steroid.
Its injectable version, Winstrol Depot, has a remarkable difference
over other injectable steroids because it does not have an ester and it
is sold as an aqueous suspension.
A stand-alone
Winstrol
cycle can yield impressive gains. The effective dosage for oral Winny
is 50mg-100mg per day. For
Winstrol
Depot dosage is 300-500mg per week.
This anabolic steroid displays high affinity the sex hormone-binding
globulin, or
SHBG.
This property, in effect, results to synergistic
effects
of anabolic steroids that are stacked in a cycle. When
Winstrol binds with the SHBG, it allows other steroid hormones to be in
‘free’ state thereby increasing anabolism in the body. Winstrol,
however, does not have strong affinity with androgen receptors, thus it
is known more of an anabolic steroid for strength gains rather than
mass gains. For impressive muscle mass gains, this anabolic steroid is
better stacked with testosterone esters,
Anadrol
or
Dianabol.
Both versions of this anabolic steroid are alpha-alkylated which means
that they can be
hepatotoxic,
especially if taken in high dosages and prolonged cycles. The legal
compound milk thistle is commonly used to prevent liver damage when
taking
anabolic steroids.
Milk thistle reportedly has protective effects on the liver.
