Dianabol

Posted By

Dianabol is one of the most common oral steroids called Methandrostenolone. A derivative of testosterone, Dianabol is one of the most popular steroids and exhibits strong anabolic and moderate androgenic properties. Its easy usage and effectiveness is what makes this steroid widely accepted. Its chemical name is 17a-methyl-17b-hydroxy-1,4-androstadien-3-one 1-Dehydro-17 a methyltestosterone.

Dianabol, or D-bol as it is commonly addressed, is widely used because of its remarkable ability to build muscle strength in a relatively very short span of time. It also possesses a multifaceted approach in building the muscles without causing and loss of weight. The Methandrostenolone contained in Dianabol is its most active ingredient and acts in an ergogenic manner when orally administered.

Most common users of D-bol are athletes and particularly bodybuilders seeking maximum muscle mass within minimum time limits. Dianabol contains a powerful anabolic agent which upon entering the body, increases the synthesis of the proteins and also causes the retention of nitrogen in it. Increase in the levels of proteins helps in the balancing of nitrogen in the body which further aids in the development of adaptogenic properties in it. This allows the body to adapt according to increased workloads as well as fatigue.

Dianabol’s primary role is that it lets the acquired muscle protein in the body to stay. This anabolic drug is also known to show considerable growth in body insulin, a hormone produced in the liver. This creates a soothing effect in the body and users of this effective steroid are often seen talking about improved sleep, lower stress levels, better appetite and feeling of relaxation despite outside pressures. This is particularly the result of increased normalizing effect of Dianabol after the RNA synthesis during stress. However, in bodybuilders, it prevents the body from avoiding catabolic stress which helps them perform at a higher level and also recover fast after tedious training regime.

What makes D-bol so sought after is its ability to stimulate strength gain in the muscle in a very direct way. During phases of heavy physical and mental stress & irregular training and caloric retention, this anabolic steroid creates a temporary anabolic state which stops the breaking down of protein so that it releases amino acids in other muscles of the body, making them more intact and strong.

Despite being such a popular muscle-mass building steroid, Dianabol is not very often used in pre-contest cycles. This is particularly because it increasingly aromatizes to estrogen and causes high retention of fluid in the body. It is always advised to administer this anabolic drug in limited amount as high dosage over an extended period of time can strain the functioning of the liver. Some other apparent effects that might occur owing to heavy dosage such as 100mg per day are gynecomastia, acne, oily skin, testicular atrophy, deepening of the voice, hair loss, high blood pressure and loss of libido in some cases.

The dosage of Dianabol is variable. For men, it is advisable to start with 10mg per day which can be increased up to 25mg per day. Women wanting to take Dianabol with an intent to cut fat and gain muscle strength should start with 5mg per day and must not go beyond 10mg in a day.

The active life of this drug is about 3-5 hours. Since it is rapidly absorbed in the digestive juices in the stomach, it is best advised to take it with food and large amount of water to avoid abdominal cramps. The advanced testing systems nowadays can identify metabolites of Dianabol in the urine samples of the user, up to 4 weeks after the last dose is administered.

Being a popular drug, Dianabol is easily available. There are numerous sites on the internet which sell this steroid from where it can be ordered with or without a medical prescription. One should bear in mind that Dianabol is a highly potent drug and hence should be taken only under the supervision of a physician.

Hardy back in jail

Posted By

The former WWE and TNA wrestling star, Matt Hardy, is back in jail. Hardy was arrested early Saturday morning after he was reportedly booted from a rehabilitation center after failing a Breathalyzer test.

The 37-year-old was booked into the jail at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday. Jeff Hardy, his brother, is back competing in TNA Wrestling after receiving 10 days in jail, 30 days probation, and a fine of $100,000 in a September plea bargain that stemmed from his 2009 arrest on drug charges.

From Thepilot.com:

Multiple wrestling websites are reporting that Hardy was expelled from the rehab program on Nov. 18 after he failed a Breatha-lyzer test. Members of the rehabilitation center staff administered the test after they became suspicious of Hardy’s behavior, according to TMZ.com.

Hardy said he wasn’t drinking and had failed the test because he’d just used mouthwash, TMZ reported.

“I’m reading a lot of ridiculous things on the ‘dirtsheets’ tonight,” Hardy’s girlfriend, Reby Sky, said on Formspring. “So to clear things up: I could have bailed him out and did not. He’s still in jail. Have fun with that.”

UK Athletics accused of encouraging liaison with controversial coach

Posted By

UK Athletics has been accused of encouraging Brett Morse, the British discus thrower, to leave his South Wales training stable and work with a coach who was banned for taking anabolic steroids.

Vesteinn Hafsteinsson, a former discus thrower, tested positive for the steroid nandrolone during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and was suspended for two years.

From Telegraph.co.uk:

UK Athletics says it was Morse’s personal decision to change coaches and insists it is not paying Hafsteinsson for his services.

But Bevan, who competed for Britain in the javelin at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, claims the move to Hafsteinsson was orchestrated by UK Athletics. He cites an email, seen by Telegraph Sport, which was sent to him by UK Athletics head coach Charles van Commenee on Oct 16, 2010.

“We identified a need for greater technical input into Brett’s training and a person who could deliver that to the athlete and his coach in a controlled and monitored environment. The athlete has now chosen to work with this coach,” a spokeswoman for UK Athletics said.

Cialis- Tadalafil

Posted By

Cialis is one of the world’s most preferred drugs when it comes to reclaiming lost libido and sexual life. An erectile dysfunction drug, Cialis is commonly used by sportsmen and others on anabolic steroids and performance enhancing drugs after their use has lowered the production of testosterone during a steroid cycle and caused sexual dysfunction.

Also known as Tadalafil or Tadalafil citrate, the erectile dysfunction drug is defined medically as a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). The chemical name of Cialis is pyrazino[1′,2′:1,6]pyrido[3,4-b]indole-1,4-dione, 6-(1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-2,3,6,7,12,12a- hexahydro-2-methyl-, (6R,12aR)-. Active ingredient in the tablets of Cialis is Tadalafil citrate and magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, titanium dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, iron oxide, lactose monohydrate, and triacetin are the inactive ingredients.

In order to experience its benefits, Cialis should be taken 4 ½ hours before a sexual session. It is considered better than Viagra as it provides benefits lasting for 2-3 days compared to benefits of 5-8 hours of Viagra. It is also considered better than Levitra as far as active life of the two drugs is concerned. No meal planning is required while using Cialis and this is one of its biggest benefits.

Medically, Cialis is recommended by medical practitioners for those suffering from pulmonary arterial hypertension. Available in different forms–capsules, injections, creams, and tablets—Cialis can be purchased online with or without a medical prescription and is a rescue drug to say the least. It helps sportsmen restore testosterone levels after a steroid cycle involving harsh or aromatizable steroids and help them and others get rid of sexual or erectile dysfunction in quick time.

The ideal dose of Cialis is 2.5 mg per day taken preferably at the same time every day for 5-7 days. This dosage may be increased up on medical recommendation to 5 mg per day taken preferably at the same time every day for 5-7 days. It is very important to note that this drug should not be combined with other erectile dysfunction drugs and treatments.

Cialis use is not recommended to those having allergies to Tadalafil or any of its ingredients or suffering from high blood pressure or stroke or pregnant and breastfeeding women and should also be avoided by individuals who take “nitrates” for chest pain. The use of Cialis cannot be assumed to protect an individual from sexually transmitted diseases and the drug should not be assumed as a birth control drug. Use of Cialis must be discontinued at the earliest and medical advice must be sought on an immediate basis if an individual experiences symptoms such as chest pain, dizziness, or nausea during sex after taking Cialis. No two doses of Cialis should be taken together.

In order to maintain its shelf life, Cialis should be kept at a controlled room temperature of 25°C (77°F) with excursions permitted up to 15-30°C (59-86°F). This erectile dysfunction drug should also be protected from children, pets, direct sunlight, heat, and moisture to maintain its efficacy and prevent unauthorized use.

Columnist called out for remarking Ovechkin used PEDs

Posted By

One Pennsylvania columnist thinks he has figured out why Alex Ovechkin is not the same as he was in the past years, as the Capitals continue to find their footing after recent changes to the coaching staff.

According to the Pennsylvania Observer-Reporter’s John Steigerwald, Ovechkin is now off the juice.

From Wtop.com:

The guy was superhuman when he first came into the league. He had the hardest shot anybody had seen in years. Goalies around the league talked about how it was different from everybody else’s shot.

He’s taking about half as many shots as he used to.

Is any of this proof that Ovechkin’s performance was enhanced before, and now it’s not? No. But, you combine it with the fact that his doctor was charged with bringing PEDs over the border from Canada, and it gives you the right to be suspicious.

Add to that the fact a Washington D.C. chiropractor was investigated after he bragged about supplying steroids to members of the Capitals and Washington Nationals.

The chiropractor Stigerwald refers to is Douglas Nagel, who was arrested in 2010 for purchasing anabolic steroids from a Florida dealer.

Youth football may increase risk of stroke

Posted By

According to U.S. researchers, young football players may be at elevated risk for stroke.

Dr. Jared R. Brosch and Dr. Meredith R. Golomb of Indiana University School of Medicine looked at case studies of teen football players who suffered a stroke and found some potential causes for the disease in young football athletes, including increased hyperventilation, repeated neurological injury, and use of anabolic steroids.

From Upi.com:

The study authors point out the increase in obesity presents a two-fold risk, as it not only increases the force of impacts among the players, but also the likelihood for other stroke risk factors such as hypertension.

“Two of our subjects had mild hypertension, but were too young to have had the many years of exposure that would lead to chronic vascular injury,” Brosch and Golomb said in a statement.

The findings were published in the Journal of Child Neurology.

HCG

Posted By

Human chorionic gonadotropin, more commonly referred to as HCG is a glycoprotein consisting of a peptide chain of 244 amino acids. Its molecular weight is 36.7 kDa.

HCH is heterodimeric in nature composed of an α (alpha) subunit identical to that of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH) and  thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and a β (beta) subunit which forms a distinctive feature of HCG. It’s α (alpha) subunit has a peptide chain of 92 amino acids and β-subunit consists of 145 amino acids. This peptide chain is encoded by six highly-homologous genes, arranged in tandem with pairs inverted on its chromosome. These two subunits are known for creating a hydrophobic core which is surrounded by a high surface area-to-volume ratio, approximately 2.8 times that of that sphere. Most of the amino acids on the outer side are hydrophilic.

This glycoprotein hormone is primarily released in the body when a woman is pregnant. It is released by the developing embryo in the uterus and then later by the syncytiotrophoblast which is actually a part of the placenta surrounding the embryo. Some cancerous tumors are also known to cause the production of this hormone. Hence if it is found in high measures in a patient who is not pregnant, it plays an important role in help rule out any risk of cancer. However, it has still not been found whether the production of HCG is a contributing factor or a result of tumorigenesis taking place in the patient. The luteinizing hormone (LH) is a pituitary analog of HCG and is secreted in the pituitary gland of both males as well as females. Owing to its similarity to LH, this chorionic gonadotropin is clinically used to induce testosterone production in the testes of males and ovulation in the ovaries of females. It is also known to activate apoptosis and play an active role in cellular differentiation and proliferation.

Benefits of HCG:

  • A highly known benefit of HCG is that when combined with a low calorie diet, it triggers the hypothalamus to release upto 2000 to 4000 calories in a single day.
  • HCG when ingested orally is known to target the abnormal fat stored in the body. This fat mainly complies with lipids which do not burn even by dieting and rigorous workouts.
  • HCG intake greatly changes the appetite of a person. From large quantities ingested in a single meal, HCG administration naturally makes the person to eat smaller meals and this habit tends to stay with the person for life.
  • When taken orally, HCG initiates the body to lose some great amount of body fat as well as weight. The body will undergo contouring and one might see a decrease in its circumference until it adjusts itself to its metabolic weight.
  • As the person loses fat, his/her skin retracts improving the tenderness of the skin.
  • A major drawback associated with drugs used for weight loss is that low calorie in the body often leads to loss of muscle mass as well. However, in case of HCG there is no such side effect seen.

Users of HCG have also reported many beauty benefits of its use:

  • They have found that because of healthy eating their acne as well as black spots have greatly reduced.
  • People have experienced elimination of dark circles under the eyes as under HCG diet, fast food and sodas are not consumed which are the main causes of dark circles.

Beneficial in bodybuilding:

  • HCG happens to be one of the most desirable drugs for bodybuilders and people undergoing heavy workouts competitive purposes, for it helps in recovery of muscle soreness way much faster than other steroids.
  • Weight loss caused by HCG administration is rapid but is considered to be safe which is 20 to 40 pounds a month.

Human chorionic gonadotropin is largely employed as a tumor marker, as its β subunit is released by some cancerous cells. Therefore it is used for tracking seminoma, choriocarcinoma, germ cell tumors, hydatidiform mole formation and teratoma.

In order to experience long term benefits of HCG, it is important for the person to maintain the HCG diet as well as regular exercise regime.

Seven to face trial in doping scandal

Posted By

Seven people accused in Operation Puerto doping scandal in cycling would be finally stand trial in Spain, facing up to two years in prison.

More than 50 cyclists were implicated, including three-time Tour de France champion Alberto Contador, Ivan Basso, Jan Ullrich, and Alejandro Valverde, in the use of performance-enhancing substances or practices.

From News.smh.com.au:

The accused, who also stand to lose their professional licences, are charged with endangering athleteshealth in their handling of blood samples since they cannot be charged retroactively for a doping crime.

Cycling’s biggest doping scandal has been a scar to Spain’s reputation for fighting doping as a Madrid judge twice shelved the case.

Spanish authorities found bags of blood, blood transfusion equipment and anabolic steroids from raids in Zaragoza and Madrid in May 2006.

Valverde is the only Spanish rider who has been punished using Puerto evidence.
