According to a release from Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, a Clinton Township police officer is charged with possessing anabolic steroids.

Following a two-month investigation by the prosecutor’s office, Patrolman Christopher Weaver, 31, was arrested and it was discovered that he had Methandrostenolone without a prescription, the report says.

The patrolman has been suspended pending the review of the complaint by the police department’s internal affairs personnel.
