Gasquet escapes ban over positive cocaine testRichard Gasquet who was about to face a two-year ban from ITF and WADA has escaped ban and will now be free to play in next month’s Australian Open. This was after International Tennis Federation and World Anti-Doping Agency failed in their appeal against a decision to overturn a ban Gasquet had received for testing positive for cocaine.

The ruling means that Gasquet will continue with his preparations for the opening grand slam of the 2010 season.
