When it comes to losing body fat and bodyweight without coming anywhere close to adverse reactions of steroid drugs, Clenbuterol (Clen) is a popular name for professional athletes and fitness conscious people. This is not just because this weight-loss medication can easily and reasonably be purchased online, with or without a prescription, but also because use of this medication is not associated with adverse reactions that are common with use of performance improving drugs, especially aromatizable steroid drugs.

However, misuse of Clenbuterol just like any other substance misuse can cause adverse reactions. When Clen is wrongly used or misused or used for a beyond-normal time range, its use may cause adverse reactions, such as gastrointestinal irritation, myocardial infarction, skin rash, urticaria, diaphoresis, dry mouth, nausea, tightness in the chest, vomiting, dizziness, depleted phosphate levels, difficulty in breathing, insomnia, muscular shivering, cardiac hypertrophy, potassium depletion, palpitation, loss of concentration, frequent mood swings, drowsiness, taurine depletion, hypophosphatemia, hypokalemia, stroke, vertigo, headaches, anxiety, and tachycardia. Moreover, Clenbuterol abuse over an extended duration has been found to be associated with adverse reactions such as increased blood pressure, tremors, muscle cramps, excessive sweating, heartburn, face flushes, and restlessness.

Individuals using medications, Accutane, oral 17-alpha-alkylated steroid drugs, or hepatotoxic (toxic to liver) elements should avoid using Clen as such a mixture may cause liver toxicity.
