The play-by-play man for some of college football’s biggest games, Brent Musburger, told a group of college journalism students that professional sportsmen, under the supervision of a doctor, can potentially use steroids in order to enhance performance.

Musburger told University of Montana students that steroids have no place in high school athletics but they can be used by professionals under doctor’s advice and with proper care.

It is worth noting here that all the major professional sports have rules forbidding use of steroids although enforcement and effectiveness of these rules are widely debated.
