  Montclair cops seize large quantity of steroids

According to Detective Sgt. Wil Young, the Montclair Police Department‘s Vice Control Unit has arrested a 27-year-old man.

The East Rutherford man stopped by Montclair detectives in the parking lot of an Upper Montclair Business District office building and had over 1,000 anabolic steroid pills.

The exact reason of why the suspect was in that parking lot at that hour has not been revealed by now.

Matechuk takes complete responsibility of his actionsJordan Matechuk, a former Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ player, who is facing sentencing for his arrest and subsequent admission of guilt for being caught with performance enhancing drugs and recreational drugs, has taken complete responsibility for his actions.

Matechuk spoke solemnly and quietly about his wrongdoing in an exclusive phone interview with Sportsnet.ca from his residence just outside of Winnipeg.

“I’d like to send out a sincere apology to the Tiger-Cats franchise, the CFL, my teammates, coaching staff, peers within the league, my family and friends for the situation I’m in,” Matechuk said.

Davis was charged with one felony count of attempting to possess a controlled substance with intent to distribute and facing a possible 20-year jail sentence.

Hamilton long-snapper Jordan Matechuk was arrested eight days ago for trying to carry drugs — 543 anabolic steroid pills, 262 milliliters of liquid anabolic steroids and 1.25 grams of marijuana, to be precise — into the country through Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Bellefeuille says Ticats do not have a steroid problemThe Hamilton Tiger-Cats head coach, Marcel Bellefeuille, didn’t find out about Jordan Matechuk’s legal problems until late Tuesday night when a reporter called him to tell that Matechuk was arrested.

The coach got off the phone and started working for confirming the news.

American customs officers found 543 anabolic steroid pills, 262 milliliters of liquid anabolic steroids, 1.25 grams of marijuana, 19 syringes and 51 replacement needles, during the ensuing inspection.

Matechuck caught for steroid possessionThe 25-year-old Hamilton Tiger-Cats player, Jordan Kyle Matechuck, was recently booted from the CFL team after he was allegedly found with steroids and pot at Sault Ste. Marie’s International Bridge.

The Tiger-Cats player was selected for a secondary exam on May 31, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Jordan Matechuck was driving to Hamilton from Alberta when caught with steroids.
