barry-bonds-steroidsIt seems because of the steroid allegations, Barry Bonds can’t find a job as a baseball player in the MLB anymore. He’s been rejected by 3 baseball clubs: Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Mets, and Boston Red Sox. It seems the steroid allegations that ruined Barry Bonds career are going to follow him for the rest of his life. Anabolic Steroid use is the main reason Bonds can’t get a job. However, it is interesting how MANY MLB Baseball players have tested positive for banned recreational drugs like cocaine, got a suspension, but were able to come back and play baseball. In fact, many have been moved to different teams for decades even after numerous drug usage accusations. Why is Barry Bonds the one singled out for something as simple as steroid use? that’s because of the negative media campaigns against the man.

Barry Bonds hasn’t received a single offer to return to the diamond, according to his agent.

“I’m an optimistic guy by nature and I have told Barry that the prospects look bleak,” said Jeff Borris, who represents baseball’s home run king.

Bonds, who turns 44 on July 24, has sat idle since filing for free agency last Oct. 30.

But recent reports suggested the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets expressed an interest in the slugger, and that he worked out with the Boston Red Sox.

“The rumours about Arizona, the Mets and Boston are completely false,” Borris said. “He never had a secret workout with the Red Sox.

“I have had numerous conversations with all three organizations, back to the time when Barry became a free agent in November of 2007, and none of those clubs are interested in him. Barry would play for any one of those clubs if they extended an offer.
