Landis has accused Armstrong of blood doping, which the seven-time Tour champion vehemently denies.
The world of professional sports has seen many link-ups between steroids and sports and it is high time that accusations are either proven or things are kept in silence.

Steroids and sports have shared a long and often untroubled relationship over the last many decades. Some sportsmen are of the view that use of steroids should be legalized, while others think that they should not be allowed as they offer a distinctive edge to steroid users in the world of professional sports.
Whether any one accept it or not, anabolic steroids work and even some of those who try condemning it actually make use of it but still want to be known as “clean”.
It is worthwhile to note here that abuse of anything is dangerous and steroids are no exceptions. There can be no problem till the time you use steroids after complementing it with qualified advice.

Sportsmen on steroids can find it difficult to get past a new test if reports are to be believed. Benzothiazepine test is presently under pipeline and can detect a specific range of untested but potentially performance enhancing compounds.
A research team from Germany has formulated tests for a specific class of drugs and seems to override the past wherein doping tests were developed only after a drug was identified.
It was remarked by Mario Thevis, Director of the Center for Preventive Doping Research at the German Sport University of Cologne, Germany that this preventive research will be useful for anti-doping officials in preventing the relationship from steroids and sports from reaching new heights.
