Modern youth using class A drugs more than everMore and more young members of the society, especially those in the age group of 16-24 years, are indulging into illicit use of class A drugs, according to the Home Office.

More than half a million young people making use of ecstasy and cocaine and the long-term gradual decline in cannabis use has continued, as per the latest findings from the British Crime Survey.

The survey suggested that there was a high in use of class A drugs and cocaine powder, ecstasy, tranquillizers, anabolic steroids, and ketamine.

Young people using Class A drugs more than everAccording to published figures from Home Office, illicit use of class A drugs is on a rise among 16-24 year olds, with more than half a million young people making use of ecstasy and cocaine.

The long-term gradual decline in cannabis use among young people has continued, according to latest findings from the British Crime Survey.

The annual findings on drugs use from the survey show that there was an increase in use of class A drugs and the use of cocaine powder, ecstasy, tranquillizers, anabolic steroids, and ketamine is on high.
