Andrei Arlovski vs. Jake O’BrienAndrei Arlovski, who’s not really known for super exciting fights, came out swinging against Jake O’Brien at UFC 82. This being Arlovski’s last fight before he moves to EliteXC or M-1, he wanted to show UFC what they are missing. He did just that!

ROUND 1:

Andrei Arlovski stuffed all 3 takedowns from Jake O’Brien, but was taken down the fourth time. O’Brien getting the top position, but Arlovski not just sitting there, working O’Brien heavy with punches and elbows. Andrei Arlovski opens a cut on Jake O’Brien’s head in round 1.

Round 1 score: 10-9 ( Andrei Arlovski )

ROUND 2:

Again, O’Brien goes into the takedown mode. One takdown goes in, after many failed, but Arlovski gets up quickly and does a body-lock takedown directly to the mount. From the mount, Arlovski Ground-and-pounds (GnPs) O’Brien into a TKO, referee stoppage at 4:17 round 2 (TKO).

This is, of course the iSteroids blog, so we need to mention a bit about steroids right.   Does Andrei Arlovski use steroids? probably not in the UFC since they test heavy, but it’s likely he’s a heavy user of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) just like Randy Couture.
