Use of anabolic steroids can lead to long lasting aggression
Posted Byi steroids
There is a deep link between aggression and use of steroids, according to Northeastern University psychology professor Richard Melloni. Melloni found out evidence suggesting that using anabolic steroids can have effects on aggression and behavior levels in the long run well after the abuse of performance enhancing drugs has stopped.
The research was funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), one of the world’s foremost medical research centers.
Athletes indulging in abuse of steroids could be inclined towards aggressive behavior much after the use of steroids has waned.
