A jealous and controlling husband secretly fed dangerous steroids, prescription steroids Anapolon and Dianabol, to his wife so she could get obese and stay at home to cook for him.

Dalwara Singh, 41, ground up highly potent tablets of anabolic steroids before slipping them into wine and meals for his wife Jaspreet Singh Gill, a court heard.

“She’s now on female hormone tablets to counter the effects and redress the hormonal balance. These steroids have no listed benefits for women and can have permanent masculating effects.”
