Woman faces trial for helping boyfriend hide steroidsA Casper woman was charged last November 10 for allegedly helping her boyfriend hide steroids just before probation officers searched their home. The woman faces a single charge of accessory after the fact to steroid possession.

Jamie Renne Steward, 28, faces the charge in Natrona County District Court. If ever she would be convicted of the crime, she will be facing a maximum of five years imprisonment.

Steward was caught by police on October 28 throwing several “testosterone-labeled” vials, syringes, a grinding ball and other items into a trash can outside their home. Steward and her boyfriend Thomas Sage Hadlock, 32, were both arrested.

Aside from those “trash” disposed by Steward, an agent from the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation said last Tuesday that they also found text messages in Hadlock’s mobile phone, which came from Steward. She was asking “What all should I hide?” and “Is there any liquor?”

Hadlock faces felony charges of possession of steroids. He was on probation during the time of his arrest. He also faces up to five years imprisonment if convicted of felony charges. His case was transferred to District Court.

Meanwhile, Steward remains free on a $2,500 bail.

A judge Tuesday ruled enough evidence exists for a Casper woman to stand trial on charges that she tried to help her boyfriend hide steroids when he knew probation officers intended to search their home.
