Steroids in Baseball – not woth the tax dollars

Posted By

steroids-in-baseballMore and more USA taxpayers are saying that investigations into Steroid use in Baseball are not worth public’s tax dollars. It seems the public is finally sick of ongoing investigations into whether Barry Bonds hit a home run while injecting trenbolone, or Roger Clemens took HGH while throwing a pitch. The US congress is ignoring a full blown national recession in the USA, a housing crisis, skyrocketing debt, and the failing war in Iraq; instead the concentration seems to be in finding out needle was stuck into Roger Clemens’ ass when he took steroids while playing baseball. Millions (that’s right MILLIONS) of USA taxpayer dollars have been spent on countless steroid investigations into baseball, and thousands of hours (hours that should be used to help USA citizens) have been spent to eradicate the LEAST influential problem in sports today. That’s right, steroids are the least influential problem today. Baseball has many other problems which need to be dealt with, but not by US Congress but by MLB – who is responsible for dealing with baseball and related regulations.

Interesting that NFL is not being targeted in steroid probes as of yet, probably because American Football is the most valuable sport in America, with many teams in the NFL worth over 1,000,000,000 (1billion) US dollars! They have so much influence that you’re not going to see investigations into who used anabolic steroids or human growth hormone (HGH) or anything of that nature. It’s politics and money. Everyone already knows all NFL players use steroids, whether it’s testosterone or HGH, the fact is 99%+ of NFL players are on some type of drugs.

NFL – Steroids and Human Growth Hormone – part 1

Posted By

NFL-steroidsMLB has gotten a lot of attention lately for anabolic steroids and HGH use, but should baseball be the true target of steroid investigations. Let’s face it, steroids in baseball aren’t nearly as much of an issue as they are in the NFL. Last estimates put anabolic steroids and Human Growth Hormone (HGH) use in the NFL at over 90% of players. So what’s a more important issue, steroids in baseball where about 5% of players are using steroids, or steroids in NFL where about 90% of athletes are using steroids and/or HGH. Maybe the real reason anabolic steroids aren’t being investigated in NFL is because of the money. NFL teams are worth billions (thats right BILLIONS) of US dollars, imagine congress trying to bully a game that’s about 100x larger financially then baseball. Let’s face it, the whole revenue in baseball about 7 years ago was 1.2 billion, while just 1 NFL team is worth over 1.2 billion! so the financial scale is not even on the same level.

tomorrow we’ll discuss the reason why steroids in NFL matter more then in baseball!

Let’s see if anabolic steroids and HGH would help you hit harder like this?

Jose Canseco continues steroid allegations

Posted By

jose-canseco-steroidsJose Canseco continued his non stop steroid allegations. He is now calling out Alex Rodriguez and Magglio Ordonez as 2 guys who used anabolic steroids during their MLB career, but when he was on ABC Nightline he could not produce a source for these allegations. All Jose Conseco could say is: “The timing’s not right.” Meaning he can go an accuse people of steroid use just because he was stupid enough to write a book on steroid use in baseball. No one cares anymore Jose, and no one gives a shit who used steroids in baseball (except maybe congress).

Just look at this joker, Jose Canseco is wearing a see through shirt trying to show off how retarded he can be by looking like a woman. Mr. Canseco please shut up already, no one wants to hear your dirty allegations about anabolic steroids or HGH and no one wants this waste of taxpayer dollars for USA citizens to go on (i.e. steroid investigations by congress).

Stupidest MMA victory celebration: Krazy Horse backflip

Posted By

Minus the fact that crazy horse was caught smoking Marijuana a few times and we believe he’s a coke head.  He’s displayed some amazingly idiotic moves after he beat K.J. Noons at EliteXC: Destiny.   Is Krazy Horse an idiot? yes! obviously if he slipped and broke his neck it would make the whole sport of MMA look bad!

Steroids in this topic?  well, for sometime there was a rumor that K.J. Noons tested positive for steroids at EliteXC but it was never proven.

Cung Le destroys Frank Shamrock at EliteXC/StrikeForce

Posted By

frank_shamrock-cung-leeToday was another good day for IS MMA predictions, as we predicted earlier this week, Cung Le beat Frank Shamrock by KO , by the looks of the fight, our “Frank Shamrock is washed out” comment was absolutely right. Frank made the best punching bag you can imagine for Le, standing up for 3 rounds and getting destroyed. Being an idiot with a bad game plan does seem to run in the family! Just as Ken Shamrock lost by standing up in fights where he was a worse striker instead of going to the ground, so does Frank Shamrock. The latest lost by Frank Shamrock is also going to facilitate the fight of: Brother vs. Brother: Ken Shamrock vs. Frank Shamrock, which is probably going to be a double joke in the industry.

Cung Le vs. Frank Shamrock play by play:

The fight start with Le throwing a lot of his kicks, keeping Frank Shamrock at a distance. After an unsuccessful takedown attempt by Frank, Le continued to pummel Shamrock with kicks while Frank tried to work a few jabs to get on the inside for a takedown.
Round 1: 9-9 (even)

The second round went much better for Le, as he starting throwing some hard leg and hand combinations. In the his one and only attempt for a takedown, Shamrock failed! For the rest of the round, Frank was literally pummeled by kicks.
Round 2: 10-8 (Le)

The last round of the fight was really the exciting moment. Cung Le came out of a huge amount of kicks and punches, even some amazing kick/punch combinations. Towards the end of the round, Le seemed tired from all the kicks and Shamrock jumped at the opportunity with a few punches and a knee. However, Cung Le survived and fought back. Landing a high kick that almost KOed Shamrock, throwing him back. Cung Le continued with non stop punches and kicks, finishing the round with a huge high kick to Frank’s face.

As the clock ran out, and the round ended. Frank Shamrock fell to the ground in pain and could not continue. It seemed his right arm was broken.

Winner: Cung Le – 3R 5:00 by KO

Steroids in Cung Le vs. Frank Shamrock:

Of course no IS blog entry would be done without steroid use accusations.  Looking at the fight, it doesn’t seem like Cung Le is on a steroid cycle right now, but it it likely and possible he was using some short half life anabolic steroids like Anavar or Winstrol during his training.  He doesn’t have the human growth hormone (HGH) gut or look, so that’s something we are ruling out.  On the other hand, Frank Shamrock looked very slow, just like his brother Ken Shamrock.  Ken Shamrock uses steroids on a regular basis, that’s the claim Frank makes as to his low confidence.  However, we saw a very weak and non-confident Frank Shamrock in the fight today.   Is it possible that Frank Shamrock was weak because he had to get off his steroid cycle in order not to test positive for anabolic steroids during the testing.  It does seem like he was still using human growth hormone (HGH) but he was probably off his testosterone propionate with anavar.

Takanori Gomi fastest MMA knockout in PrideFC history

Posted By

Takanori Gomi is the top lightweight MMA fighter in the world right now, and he’s about 10x more interesting then BJ Penn (or should we said Steroid-J Penn).  It turns out Takanori Gomi holds the current world record for the fastest MMA knockout in PrideFC or even MMA history.

A note on Takanori Gomi: although he’s never tested positive for steroids in the USA, it is widely believe the change in his bodyshape from a babyfat style to this nice and ripped physique of the later years is attributed to doctor supervised anabolic steroid use.  Also, human growth hormone (HGH) was probably used after one of his injuries.  Specifically doctor prescribed HGH use for his knee recovery.

Tim Sylvia leaving UFC -> Joining M-1 Global (Adrenaline MMA) and Steroids

Posted By

tim_sylvia_steroidsSlow Timmy, Tim Sylvia, is now leaving UFC for the ‘up and coming’ promotion Adrenaline MMA. It seems M-1 Global couldn’t capitalize on the best P4P fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko, so they decided to drop Fedor Emelianenko from M-1 and find a new name. This is, of course an idiotic move. Fedor Emelianenko leaving M-1 is the worst thing that could happen for M-1 Global. The problem is that M-1 Global only had Fedor signed, with him gone, they had to literally close down M-1 Global and create a new organization Adrenaline MMA, which is now going to be the playing game for them. The first event is on June 14 in Chicago, IL, where Jeff Monson will face Mike Russow for the non-existent Adrenaline MMA (M-1 global) Heavyweight championship. They also have Ben Rothwell, former IFL star, and Eddie Alvarez who was a Bodog fights champion and is now fighting in DREAM.

Perhaps the biggest new name to join Adrenaline MMA (M-1 Global) is Tim Sylvia, who is probably one of the lamest heavyweight fighters in MMA. Tim Sylvia who tested positive for steroids after UFC 44, has never really recovered. Tim Sylvia seems to be such a 1 sided fighter (stand up) that no steroids in the world will improve his game. He has no ground skills, no take down skills and no submission defense. Perhaps this is why he resorts to using anabolic steroids, when everyone knows that in MMA steroids actually come out on the losing end. Meaning? Meaning that the majority of MMA athletes who took steroids and fought actually lost. This points to steroids being a bad thing in MMA fighting, but then again, like HGH, steroids don’t help you be a better athlete. They help you recover or train a bit more, but they don’t give you talent or stamina or heart.

M-1 Global and Fedor Emelianenko split

Posted By

fedor-MMAAlthough it has been obviously a long time coming event, M-1 and Fedor Emelianenko have finally parted ways. The problem with M-1 was that it didn’t find Fedor any competition nor was it able to sign any other real name fighters besides the Red Devil club. This, of course, comes too coincidental with the opening of DREAM, a co-promotion of K-1 and old PRIDE owners in Japan. DREAM signed Cro Cop already in their Japanese promotion, so naturally signing Fedor Emelianenko would be a good choice. It’s possible we’ll see Fedor vs. CroCop II with Fedor fighting the “new” CroCop. New meaning a CroCop jacked on anabolic steroids, human growth hormone (HGH), pain killers and god knows what else they use in Japan. Obviously, HGH has been proven to NOT be beneficial for athletes, but we doubt CroCop read the studies.

EliteXC/Strikeforce: Frank Shamrock vs. Cung Le and Steroids

Posted By

In the latest installment of Frank Shamrock blogs, we want to discuss the upcoming match between Frank Shamrock and Cung Le. First of all, on the topic of the fight. Cung Le is a stand up fighter, with little ground knowledge, easy to sub and mostly likes to stand up and fight. On the other hand, Frank Shamrock is a submission fighter, who’s main interest is in ground fighting. This begs the question, who will take the cake? Our guess is that Cung Lee will probably KO washed out Frank Shamrock. Let’s face it, in 8 years (from 2000-2008) Frank Shamrock only had 5 fights, and only 3 fights since 2004. The guy hasn’t really been around the block lately in terms of high end MMA competition. Conversely, Cung Le fought 5 times since 2006 and knocked out each opponent with a KO. Cung Le is the better fighter, unless it goes to the ground – where he’ll get destroyed by Frank Shamrock.

On the topic of steroids, it’s widely believed Cung Le is tied into indirectly a Bay Area steroid crowd that pulls back to the same gym Barry Bonds was in, basically making Cung Le is good steroid use target. Then, we have Frank Shamrock who’s steroid use we talked about already – with his likely use of Human Growth Hormone (HGH) as the top topic. In terms of testing, it doesn’t seem either of these guys is stupid enough to test positive for anabolic steroids, so it’s unlikely any fight decision will get overturned.
