M-1 Global and Fedor Emelianenko split
Although it has been obviously a long time coming event, M-1 and Fedor Emelianenko have finally parted ways. The problem with M-1 was that it didn’t find Fedor any competition nor was it able to sign any other real name fighters besides the Red Devil club. This, of course, comes too coincidental with the opening of DREAM, a co-promotion of K-1 and old PRIDE owners in Japan. DREAM signed Cro Cop already in their Japanese promotion, so naturally signing Fedor Emelianenko would be a good choice. It’s possible we’ll see Fedor vs. CroCop II with Fedor fighting the “new” CroCop. New meaning a CroCop jacked on anabolic steroids, human growth hormone (HGH), pain killers and god knows what else they use in Japan. Obviously, HGH has been proven to NOT be beneficial for athletes, but we doubt CroCop read the studies.
